Reflections Hotel Dubai

I came from Jebel Ali around 1:00 AM to visit friends in rooms 402 and 403, but the staff would not let me go up. The staff member I believe was named Raylan and a female colleague refused entry without a clear or respectful explanation. After travelling that far at such a late hour, I felt unwelcome and frustrated, and no one explained what I should do. I understand hotels can have visitor rules, but staff should explain them courteously and offer guidance. The trouble had started at check-in at Reflaction Hotel in Al Jaddaf. The receptionist was dismissive and uncooperative, insisting on a physical ID and refusing alternatives such as a paper ID copy, ICA record, or UAE PASS. I found that frustrating, especially since other hotels, including several five-star establishments, accept these forms of ID with proper verification. Policies should be clear and handled politely. This left me uncomfortable from the start. In my experience, the management, service, and way guests are treated fell short of a professional standard. Staff training, clear policies, and respectful communication all need improvement. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend Reflaction Hotel in Al Jaddaf. Management should review its policies and make sure guests are treated courteously.

The whole stay was frustrating, with poor, disorganized management that seemed unconcerned about guests. The bathroom was disgusting, old, and not properly cleaned. This was my worst hotel experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Lucky and Rida were especially good, professional, attentive, and really helped make the stay pleasant. The suite itself was good too. The standard rooms, though, weren’t clean, smelled like cigarette smoke, and had worn showers and towels with an unpleasant smell. The hotel needs renovations and doesn’t currently feel up to four-star standards, even though the staff certainly are.

Everything went fine. The bed felt a bit hard, or maybe the sheets weren’t smooth. That’s it, everything else was fine.
