Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites

The resort staff were welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. Mr. Mehul handled our reservation professionally and made everything smooth from the start. Mrs. Romaisaa at the front office also genuinely tried to make us happy throughout the stay. I’m especially grateful to the chefs, who carefully prepared special meals with different ingredients for our two children with food allergies, helping us avoid any medical issues. There are some areas that could make the resort experience better. The main restaurant’s pastry and dessert selection was below expectations for both taste and quality. My five-year-old daughter also found the kids club “too boring” and not very entertaining. More creative activities for different ages would help. The biggest gap was activities for teenagers. Compared with many other resorts, there’s plenty of room to improve. Children aged 10-14 could use more age-appropriate entertainment, such as a dedicated gaming area with PlayStation or arcade games, or a small outdoor water play area. My children, aged 12 and 14, didn’t find enough to enjoy, which would make us think twice about returning. Despite those points, the hospitality, service, and care from the staff were excellent, and we appreciate everyone’s efforts.

We had a fantastic meal, and Rupa made the evening even better. I’ve stayed at more than 10 hotels in Dubai, and she’s the best waitress I’ve come across. She knew the menu well, gave great food and drink guidance, and recommended just the right things. Her attention to detail was excellent: she anticipated what we needed and made sure our drinks never ran out. The service felt warm, professional, and easy, never forced or scripted. Rupa turned a great meal into an outstanding experience. Rixos is lucky to have her. She’s a real credit to the hotel.

The children had the best time, and the hotel was very kid-friendly. Everything about our stay at Rixos The Palm was wonderful, from the beautiful, next-level rooms to the outstanding service. The staff worked hard to make us feel welcome and cared for, and it showed in all the details. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’d highly recommend it for a family getaway.

The all-inclusive experience at Rixos is meant to center on activities, the kids’ club, food, and atmosphere, but all of those let us down on this visit. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements. We came to Rixos The Palm with family for a three-night staycation this weekend, and the experience fell well short of expectations for the hotel’s reputation and price. The welcome was flat from the start, and reception didn’t feel warm or attentive. Since we were staying three nights rather than four, we were told we couldn’t access the restaurants. One of the main buffets was also closed for renovation, and we hadn’t been told before arrival. The replacement buffet was smaller, and the food quality didn’t match what we expected from a hotel of this standing. That was especially disappointing in Dubai, where the 25Hours Hotel and Mina Al Salam recently impressed us with their warmth.
