The room was large, but nothing special. The lobby was okay, with comfy couches, almost like it was set up for people waiting a long time. We booked through an app and requested early check-in, but waited 3 hours for a room. Their check-in is at 3 pm, while most hotels have it at 2 pm. They also asked for a 500-1000 deposit for a standard room worth 300, and required us to leave an Emirates ID as deposit without telling us in advance. We didn’t get the ID back at checkout, so we had to ask someone to retrieve it after we’d already traveled to Abu Dhabi. Reception wasn’t friendly or accommodating. When a staff member from our current hotel called to ask if we’d left the ID there, the female receptionist on duty the night of 2/3/24 was rude, and got even ruder when I spoke with her. It took nearly 30 minutes to get down from the first floor to the lobby because they have only 2 elevators and just one was working. In my opinion, this wasn’t a good hotel. Look somewhere else for a better vacation experience.

The building has both a hotel and offices. The offices are close to the entrance on the right, near the corner. If you're going to the academy, use the outside entrance on the right and go to the 12th floor. Parking can be tricky if you arrive by car, but the tower has lower-level parking, and the second floor is free. Be prepared to wait for the elevator.
