Sadaf

I came with my family to see a unit and had the key and access card. Reception security guard ”Thanveer Ahmed” was rude and unprofessional, telling us the owner had to email before we could visit.

The building sits with seven others around a shared courtyard, a clever layout, and it’s near both the beach and Dubai Marina. But the building’s technical condition is a problem. The air conditioning probably isn’t working well. We could smell cigarette smoke or cooking from another apartment in ours. Unpleasant.

The rooms and surrounding area impressed me during my week at Sadaf 2, but one security guard’s behavior badly affected the stay. After I accidentally left my access card behind, Mr. Balyodh Singh was shockingly rude and aggressive. His racist remarks and condescending manner upset me most. He acted as though he owned the property. When I calmly said I would file a complaint, he replied, “just go for it,” as if he believed there would be no accountability. It’s disappointing to encounter this at a property otherwise known for its hospitality. I sincerely hope management takes note and appropriate action so it doesn’t happen to others.
