Sadaf6 Jumeirah Beach Residence

Sadaf 1 has been a very disappointing place to live. The building feels poorly maintained, with basic comfort and upkeep falling short, and problems that should be handled quickly are often ignored or delayed. For the prices charged, the quality is far below what I expected. Management and security have also repeatedly lacked courtesy and professionalism. Even simple interactions can become frustrating because of rude behavior and unhelpful attitudes. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a respectful environment or a building that takes residents' concerns seriously.

The building itself is OK, but the security makes you want to cry every day. The worst of the worst. Dubai holdings should be embarrassed.

There are five lifts, but two or sometimes three are usually out of order. Waiting can take up to 10 minutes, and when one finally arrives, it gets overcrowded. We’ve written to building management several times, but they don’t seem to care. More than half the people using the lifts aren’t even residents. I don’t recommend moving here.

Two days ago, around 9 PM, I was out walking with my children in JBR and needed directions because we're new to the area. At the locked entrance to Saddaf 6, I saw a security guard, later identified as Siddiq, standing about three meters behind the glass doors. I rang the bell marked "Call Security" and waved to get his attention. He saw us, and there was nobody else around, but deliberately ignored us. A resident arrived a minute later and struggled with the door code before getting in. We went in with her, and I asked Siddiq why he had ignored me. He said he wasn't allowed to approach the main door or respond to the bell, which makes little sense when the sign specifically tells visitors to ring for security. He didn't apologize or explain further. I was left wondering why there's security if they can't help or even acknowledge people, especially families asking for basic directions. It felt demeaning, not just unhelpful. In a community like JBR, residents and guests should be able to expect basic decency and support. This behavior is unacceptable.
