The apartment was fantastic, beautifully furnished, spotless, and very well equipped. But how well it stays that way clearly depends on the owner maintaining it. The building has some serious downsides. For weeks, there was loud construction and drilling in neighboring apartments from morning until evening, and Management ignored my polite questions about it. The community is noisy too, with loud music from nearby beach bars going constantly, especially on weekends. I had to call security three separate times late at night to stop wild parties from the upstairs neighbor. The staff were another disappointment, especially the lady in the gym, who was extremely unfriendly and unmotivated. If peace and quiet matter to you, I'd strongly recommend another building.

The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and cooker, and the agent was excellent to communicate with. It was very clean and roomy, with two bathrooms, three toilets and a balcony looking over the marina. Shams 1 has three pools, shops, a pharmacy, a gym and a play area for kids. The beach is close, and JBR is busy but has everything nearby. We'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai.

The apartments are spacious, though quite worn, and I’ve stayed here several times with different hosts. The setting between JBR and Marina is handy for beaches, shops and restaurants. The new face recognition system doesn’t seem to work. It’s meant for long-term residents rather than guests, but we still had trouble getting into the gym during the first two weeks.

We had a really good time here. Shams 1 is clean, with a nice pool, and Jumeirah Beach is just a stone’s throw away. GMCC train station is about a 10-minute walk, while the Tram is five minutes away. The main restaurants and amenities are close too.

Waking up to the panoramic Dubai Marina view from apartment 2408 was a treat. The apartment was spacious and well furnished, with all the modern amenities I could need. During my recent Dubai visit, I also found the location ideal for exploring Dubai Marin, with the beach, popular restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance. The building is modern and well maintained, and its 24-hour security helped me feel safe throughout my stay.
