Sheraton The Walk Hotel

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with good facilities. There's a good supermarket nearby for groceries, and breakfast was great, though seating felt cramped. That's the bright side of our one-night stay in a 3 bedroom apartment. The rest was a series of waits. We arrived at 2:45 for the 3pm check-in, allowing for holiday delays. The front desk charged my card and then asked us to wait while housekeeping prepared the room, with nowhere to sit. Two children, a puppy, and hungry adults waited. After an hour, we were told housekeeping was still working on it. I could see many other families waiting, and some arguing with staff. We finally got the keys after almost two hours. The pool was no better than the bathtub. Later, drinking water took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. At breakfast, we waited again. A staff member asked if we could sit outside, despite the 40°+ Dubai heat, then another offered a table for four for our group of seven. We got a table after 40 minutes. When I wrote this, we had already said we were ready to check out 40 minutes earlier, but nobody had come to collect our luggage, holding up the next family. I know it was a holiday, but the hotel should plan for that and add staff instead of making guests wait. The problem seems to be poor planning and likely a staff shortage. If you're prepared to wait and have plenty of patience, this might be the place for you.

We returned yesterday after five nights all inclusive at this beautiful hotel. We had booked after getting stuck in the UAE on Saturday 28th February, and every member of staff treated us with kindness, care, and compassion. The service was amazing. We ate at Jones the grocer and the speakeasy, where the food was amazing and staff were fabulous. They all knew our situation and looked after us so well. Andrew and I will be eternally grateful, with all our love.

Saiful Islam, our room attendant, deserves a special mention. He was so friendly and kind, did a wonderful job, and kept our room perfectly clean. We'd book here again, preferably on the floor where he works. All the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, making us feel comfortable from the start. Thanks to the whole team for a lovely stay and such warm hospitality. We'd love to return.

The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and kept in great condition. Housekeeping and guest services were excellent throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, with their wide range of tasty food, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The whole visit felt peaceful and relaxing. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly, and the staff handled requests quickly and professionally. I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton, The Walk Dubai, and would happily return. A great choice for comfort and hospitality in Dubai.
