Skylight Hotel

I paid almost 700 baht for a room that was uninhabitable, so it felt like a waste of money. The sheets were dirty and torn, and the room was filthy with cockroaches. My stay was terrible. If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would, and I don't recommend staying here.

We'd just checked in when we found the kettles in the room like this, and it was disgusting. When we explained it to the guy who came, he arrogantly said, “kaliwali have the new one,” then even blamed us, saying we'd cooked in the kettle. Those old stains were embarrassing. Not worth it.

They cleaned our room only twice during our four days there. When we called to ask for cleaning, they said there was no cleaning that day. The AC was so dusty that switching it on made us sneeze, and the bathtubs were old and too dirty. There was hair all around the dirty rooms, too. When my man booked, they hadn't told him all the rules and regulations. When I arrived, they wouldn't let me in unless I paid extra. I've never seen this hotel anywhere else in Dubai, and we visit Dubai all the time. They care only about money and don't care about customers. Worst hotel experience we've had in Dubai.

I waited over an hour for towels. The staff are terrible, and if you ask for anything, they just give you excuses. The night shift needs to be changed.
