Sofitel Dubai The Palm Luxury Apartments

Asif and Umesh made us feel welcome and looked after from start to finish. They were warm, professional, attentive, and clearly cared about guests having a good time. The food at Manava Restaurant was exceptional too, especially the brisket, which was the standout of the meal. Great food and hospitality made it memorable. I'd happily return and recommend it, particularly for the brisket and service.

Rachel was wonderful throughout my spa session, skilled, attentive, and professional. She made sure I was comfortable and that everything felt right. The facility was clean and the atmosphere relaxing, with excellent service. I'd recommend the spa and will definitely come back. Thanks, Rachel! 😊✨

The biggest disappointment was being charged for plain water at the dinner buffet, even though we had spent thousands of dirhams on a half-board stay. Kids inevitably need water with a buffet meal. Breakfast water and juices were complimentary on both days, and the room had a water dispenser instead of standard bottled water. We've stayed at many five-star hotels in different countries and came all the way from Abu Dhabi expecting better hospitality. Charging for soft drinks or juice is understandable, but plain water is a basic necessity. It felt needlessly cheap. There are other areas where Sofitel Dubai The Palm could improve for a five-star property. The mattress wasn't very comfortable and affected our sleep. Although there are three pools, none is a dedicated kids' pool: the existing ones felt either too deep or too shallow for children to enjoy safely and comfortably. The kids' club could use more indoor activities for summer, when children spend more time inside. Arcade games, pool tables, foosball, and similar options would add to the existing PlayStation setup. The à la carte menus also felt repetitive across the different restaurants and could be more varied and distinct.

We travel to Dubai as a family with teenage kids often, and have stayed at three other hotels on the Palm. This is a beautiful place, with a relaxed feel, a lovely pool, and a private beach area. Hospitality has been to a very high standard, and the food across the good range of restaurants is excellent. Our two-bedroom apartment is absolutely huge. The staff have been consistently attentive. Special thanks to Arun at the pool, who always gives fabulous service. We'd highly recommend staying here.
