The barbecue space could be useful, but it has no tables for food or cutting meat, nowhere to sit, no sink for washing hands and no shade from the sun. It feels poorly planned and uncomfortable to use. The pool area also needs attention: several loungers are broken, the floor is cracked, and there are holes where the ground has caved in. I stepped into one last week and hurt my foot, which is a serious safety concern. The gym has disinfectant, but no clear reminders to wipe down the equipment. People leave the machines sweaty, and the room has a persistent bad smell. Towels should be required during workouts, and there should be a drinking water fountain. The 15th floor constantly smells of cigarette smoke, which comes through the ventilation into apartments. After a shower, I’ve had my body and hair smell strongly of smoke within minutes. I don’t smoke and have a strong allergy to it, so it causes me real discomfort. I’m deeply disappointed with the building’s condition and management. After being away for two months, I returned to find my apartment had no water. The supply had been shut off without any notice. They said there was a leak in the apartment below, which seems strange since my unit had been closed and empty the whole time. It appears to me the problem comes from poor plumbing installation in the building, not damage caused by my apartment. The building needs more attention to maintenance and day-to-day management. A more proactive approach and some improvements could make life better for residents. We all deserve a safe, clean and comfortable place to live.

I rented the apartment in July but didn’t move in until October, and there were cockroaches inside when I arrived. I called cleaners and pest control and had the cracks sealed, but they kept coming in from the hall. The reception staff were nice and said they would find the nest, but weeks went by without a fix. After I complained angrily to management, they sprayed the common areas, but the nest still wasn’t dealt with. The cockroaches returned that same night after pest control left. I still haven’t received any update about resolving it.

One useful addition to the gym would be an all-in-one training machine like the one in the attached pictures. It can work several muscle groups, including the back, arms and chest, and would make the gym more useful for residents. It’s common in modern gyms, and adding one would show support for an active lifestyle. Pool access could also work better for residents who finish work late or prefer to relax in the evening. It currently closes at 10 PM, while buildings such as Danube keep theirs open until 3 AM. Later hours would give tenants more flexibility and could appeal to potential residents too. I hope management will consider both suggestions.

After booking an Airbnb here, I left straight away because of the poor moulding, then realized some of my belongings were missing. The security supervisor said he had seen someone enter the property while I was out and advised me to call the Police. I waited two hours for them, then found out he had been referring to me. I also saw other guests arguing with security about items that had gone missing from the downstairs lobby. The whole experience has put me off renting or buying any Damac apartment.
