I really miss how it used to be here. I loved living in this place until West Beach opened. The beachside bars play loud music all day and late into the night. We tried calling the police, complaining in person, and raising it together as tenants, but the noise always returns. Prices for the gym, pool membership, bars, and restaurants have also shot up.

The pool has been unavailable for a full year. Boxes are all over the hallways, and the staff don’t help or seem to care. I don’t recommend it.

The location and views are the strongest points of this residential complex, and the facilities are well maintained. The apartments are starting to age and could use more maintenance, though.

The only good thing here is how close it is to the beach. The lifts are constantly all broken, leaving residents and staff to share a single lift, which is chaos, especially in the mornings. Clubs just outside play loud music nearly every day, often until 2 am, so it’s hard to sleep. When the garden is watered every day, it smells like poo. The beach is disgusting too, with rubbish, plastic, and food leftovers all over the sand and even in the water. Fairmont rents the beach, but I haven’t seen them do anything about it. I’m exceptionally upset by those standards, especially from a brand like Fairmont in one of Dubai’s best and most exclusive areas. This is supposed to be a 5 star residence, but it feels like zero stars. I honestly don’t recommend it.
