Stylish 1BR at Meera Tower Apartments

I've been trying for months to get my money back after moving out, and management keeps holding it with endless, strange excuses. Since you sign the rental agreement, they seem to do everything they can to avoid providing services, even when required. This management company is the worst I've dealt with, and doesn't provide value for the money. In my experience, Alexandra Garcia avoids her responsibilities and ignores requests indefinitely. Exemplary lazy robbers.

The apartment itself looked good, with plenty of space and nice fittings, and the area is really nice. But our excitement disappeared once we moved in. We left after a year of unfulfilled promises. They said construction would finish in April, but the complex is still incomplete. The pool and gym, promised for April 2018, didn't open until February 2019. The concierge service they advertised wasn't real help. Staff wouldn't help with luggage, hold the door, or bring a trolley. They were extremely rude, more like bouncers than helpful staff, and wouldn't open the door even when we were struggling with ten bags. Residents couldn't get dropped at the front entrance, though management driving Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces could park there. The parking lot was a mess of construction equipment and dust. We found laborers sitting on our car, and management did nothing when we complained. Ground floor parking was blocked off for Habtoor staff and management. More than 95% of residents seemed to be Habtoor school teachers or real estate staff who paid no rent, and management treated the place like staff accommodation while some of us paid extremely high rent and were treated very poorly. The AC was unbelievably loud, like a generator. The claims about the world's largest pool deck and state of the art gym were laughable. The gym opened two weeks before we moved out, and was just a room with equipment thrown in; the windows looked out on piles of garbage. The third tower above the pool was still being built. There are plenty of places to live in Dubai, and this one isn't worth it. For something similar, I'd choose an Emaar building, where the staff are so helpful and the buildings are amazing.

I lived there for five years. These days there are lots of leisure choices, including the residents' pool and bistro on the 6th floor. For everyday errands there are a grocery store, flower shop, beauty parlor, dry cleaning, and coffee shops. The maintenance team is very slow, but reliable.

The apartments are gorgeous, but management has been appalling, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic. Even after lockdown was lifted, they went against government guidelines and refused to let cleaners enter the building. People with full-time jobs can't spend all day cleaning. There's also construction noise constantly, even at night. The security staff are badly trained and rude. If you're out when a delivery arrives, they won't let the courier leave it at your apartment door or even at reception. They're often watching movies or looking at their phones.
