I was thinking of renting here, so I visited a friend at South Ridge tower 5 on 28 Aug 2025 to see what the place was like. The reception experience put me off completely. The receptionist or security staff member, Asad Khan, in a black coat, was watching a movie at the desk and spoke to me rudely. He didn’t greet me or offer any help, just brushed me off. It felt like he saw me as “just a visitor” who didn’t deserve basic respect. I asked to use the lobby washroom, and he said visitors weren’t allowed and that it was kept locked because of them. That felt unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming. This behavior is unacceptable in a place that’s meant to represent professionalism and hospitality. If staff treat guests this way, I worry about how my own visitors would be treated. I value respectful service, and after this experience I’m reconsidering renting here entirely.

There’s a large park in front of all six South Ridge towers, and Burj Khalifa boulevard is a 5 minute walk away. You’ll also find some very nice restaurants, bars and lounges nearby. It’s an upscale community with good amenities and a clean environment. The buildings feel strong and well built, with good quality finishes throughout the development.

I arrived at 9 pm and was 45 minutes late, even though check-in is at 2 pm, so that’s 8 hours after check-in time. The apartment should have been ready, but the man told me I was late for check-in. That isn’t professional behavior for a place with a 10 rating, and the rating isn’t true. I want compensation from management and for them to contact me as soon as possible.
