The Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection

The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and when I had digestive issues they arranged medication from a local pharmacy to be delivered to our room. A few unexplained charges appeared on the bill, but they were sorted out quickly. We also enjoyed the food: at the courtyard, our late-night snack included Lamb Sujuk and Chicken Livers. The evening setting is lovely, though shisha is common there, so smoke-sensitive guests should know that. We chose the Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection in Dubai as a clean, convenient base near the Burj Khalifa, and the location worked really well for Downtown Dubai. The lobby is lovely. Our room, 417, had a gorgeous view and no balcony. It was comfortable and generally clean, in line with mid-range Marriott luxury, though not quite five-star. There were a few light signs of age and the tub could have been cleaned better. I’d put the rooms around 3.5 stars. A good option if you want a handy base while exploring the city.

We visited during the festive season, and the decorations made the property feel special for Christmas and New Year. The rooms were pleasantly spacious after long days out, and service was good and attentive. The main draw is the location. Dubai Mall and Souq Al Bahar are just a few minutes on foot, with plenty of restaurants nearby for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Heritage Hotel is a solid choice if you want to be close to Downtown Dubai attractions and enjoy the area without giving up comfort. Especially handy for shoppers and foodies.

The lobby and the hotel’s overall style felt modern and cozy, and the breakfast spot was great. Food was okay and the gym was small. The big plus for me as a Marriott Bonvoy member was getting an upgraded room with a balcony overlooking Burj Khalifa. A great option if you want to stay near Dubai Mall.

The hotel is a convenient, decent choice close to Dubai mall, about a five-minute walk away. The staff were really friendly, especially Hoda and Mostafa el fayez at reception, who were supportive and helpful. Our deluxe room was spacious, with a nice bed, bathtub, and shower. You can get either a pool view or a burj view.
