The Lana - Dorchester Collection

Salomon made my visit to The Lana Dubai feel exceptional. He was warm and professional from the moment I arrived, paid attention to the little details, and went out of his way to make sure I felt welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is stunning, elegant, and luxurious, with lovely design and great service throughout.

We came for the Eid Al addha holiday because I wanted to try the rooftop pool, and the pool really was exceptional, with a breathtaking view. Our room had an amazing terrace too, and we had a marina view room with a view of Burj Khalifa. The staff were generally nice, especially Adam at reception. There was no iron in the room, though, and the rooftop cocktails were very bad. The selection was poor and they were poorly made. At 87 aed, I expected more, and that should be improved.

Ermin’s care made a big difference during my stay. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring, and went above and beyond to make everything seamless. The Lana Dubai is a beautiful, modern, elegant hotel that’s very well maintained. I’d recommend it for a premium experience in Dubai.

At breakfast at Riviera, maître d’ Nanouka surprised me with a menu specialty, a candle, and a Riviera keepsake. My birthday was still a few days away, so I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture and how well it fit the hotel’s style. It followed a conversation we’d had the previous day about music. I mentioned that I enjoy classical music and play piano, and Nanouka told me about her fellow native Georgian composer, Giya Kancheli. I’d listened to and enjoyed Kancheli’s work, but couldn’t find piano scores. Nanouka followed up on her own and sent me links to several. That personal, cultured attention was rare and memorable. Renel at the Concierge desk also handled my travel arrangements attentively and with care. The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai is an elegant, refined property, and the hospitality was exceptional throughout. An outstanding stay.
