The Leela Hotel

They charge an extra 100 AED to allow two visitors, and this wasn’t clearly explained in advance. The visitor policy feels strict and unreasonable, and the extra charges make it seem like they care more about money than treating guests fairly. Customer service was poor and the place didn’t feel welcoming. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here because of the hidden fees and visitor rules.

Be careful with the bill at Taverna restaurant. We were charged for things we hadn’t ordered, so check everything or you could end up paying for it. And 50 AED for avocado juice here is laughable. Extending your stay can also mean being overcharged, with inflated prices and no transparency. The hotel was dirty and unhygienic, clearly not maintained to an acceptable standard, and reception staff were rude, acting as though helping guests was a burden. Between the hygiene, service, and questionable billing, the place feels like a trap.

I was really happy staying here. The rooms and service were good, the food was good, and the hotel is very close to the metro. Raja was the best, such an awesome guy, and his polite hospitality was next level. Abdullah and Raja were great guys during the night, I loved it. Hope to come back soon, see you guys 🥰

We were a group of 11 at the Leela in the last week of October. The location is perfect, very close to City Centre mall, and the rooms were clean and adequate. We had a problem with our room on the first night, but they changed it promptly and upgraded us. The front desk staff were helpful and smiling, especially Raja, Abdullah, Sneha, and Gina, who we spoke with regularly. I’d definitely stay at the Leela again.
