Hotel W Dubai The palm

The breakfast was a real positive, with plenty of choice and good quality. The room itself was pleasant too, with a comfortable bed and good toiletries. Unfortunately, those points didn’t outweigh the problems with the service. Our key cards kept becoming demagnetized, and we had to return to reception each time to reactivate them. It happened four times in five days, which became extremely frustrating. Reception was also painfully slow, whether we were checking in or just trying to get a card working again. I was particularly unhappy when a hotel manager came to our room late in the evening, repeatedly knocking and ringing because the “Do Not Disturb” sign had been up for over 24 hours. In an expensive hotel, privacy should be respected. If there was a concern, it could have been raised when we came to reception instead of at our door. The property is objectively beautiful, but the staff service needs a lot of improvement for a five-star hotel. I’ve stayed in many five-star properties worldwide, and this one is definitely not among the best.

The room was probably the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It was huge, and the balcony had a fantastic skyline view with comfortable seating, so we had a lovely private place to unwind. Travelling with a toddler can be difficult, but the team made everything easy from the start. We arrived well before the 3pm check-in time and were offered somewhere to freshen up and relax. They then gave us a room as soon as one was ready, and the lady who checked us in was warm and friendly. Our pool days were made even better by Darius, Brian, Memory, and Charles, both at the reservations desk and out on the pool deck. The cabanas were especially useful while our toddler napped. We also enjoyed the family wet deck, with its three pools, and the family terrace, where Cynthia looked after us so well during happy hour. The LIV team greeted us and our daughter every morning, and the food there was fantastic. The buffet had an amazing amount of variety, so a big thank you to the kitchen team. Rita went out of her way to decorate our bedroom and leave little gifts for our daughter, which was such a thoughtful surprise. From the valet team to everyone around the resort, the service felt luxurious and genuinely five-star. W definitely stands for Wowza. We had an incredible week and can’t wait to return.

I’m already hoping to return during the Eid holiday. The entire stay felt seamless, and I genuinely felt valued as a guest from beginning to end. Rafael and the full W team made the experience memorable with their friendliness, professionalism, and constant attention. The welcome was warm, and the care throughout the stay was on another level. Every detail helped make it feel special. Thank you again, Rafael, for the amazing service and wonderful experience. It was a perfect stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable, easygoing visit.

My daughter was genuinely delighted, and the staff deserve a lot of credit for making her birthday feel so special. Vaishnawi at reception was especially helpful. She understood exactly what we needed, upgraded our room, and handled everything wonderfully. The property has an extraordinary location, rooms, and amenities, but the service was the biggest highlight. We also enjoyed the exquisite food, had a lot of fun at the pool bar, and appreciated the beach as an added bonus. I took so many lovely pictures of my daughter enjoying the experience. We visited W Dubai The Palm for her birthday and had an amazing time. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy yourself, and I’d definitely recommend visiting. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
