Wasl Gate - The Nook 2 905

The apartments are on the small side compared with other Wasl developments, and the prices are lower too. I got a chance to view this upcoming ALWASL free hold property. It has the amenities in place, including a gym, pool, and parking, and is very convenient for people working in Jabel ali free zone area. It's close to energy metro station.

The new security staff are rude and don't seem to understand what they're doing. The new management is making life uncomfortable for people living in the nook 1 & 2 with childish rules, as if they're turning the community into an army base.

The building has a gym, swimming pool, BBQ Area, Kids Play Area and leisure area, which makes living here satisfying. It feels like a complete urban community, with security staff, a lifeguard and parking. The location is great for the METRO, MALL, SCHOOLS and Religious Places, and the vibe is amazing.

It's a nice, convenient place, close to Energy metro and festival plaza. The building is fairly new and mostly quiet. There are lots of families and kids playing around, but that didn't bother me. Some floors had complaints about coackroaches, though luckily mine wasn't one of them. The AC was a problem. It's chiller free, but every few months it would get very dusty, the apartment would become really warm, and the roof needed cleaning at our expense. Maintenance said they had no equipment, so we'd have to hire someone from outside. That was verry inconvenient in summer. Also, not all apartments have powder rooms, so if you like hosting, everyone will need to use the main washroom. Overall, good.
