The worst Airbnb we’ve had. We rented for a month and there was no cleaning during that time. The washing machine’s dryer didn’t work, so we had to get creative to wash the bed sheets. The gas stream was so weak that cooking was almost impossible. The biggest inconvenience was the WiFi. We needed it for work and asked several times every day for help, but were told they were busy with other clients. We called the provider ourselves and learned it wasn’t paid for. After asking again and again, they only activated it after we complained. It took a week to pay for internet, unbelievable. On checkout day, which was until 11am, workers were already knocking hard from 10am because they needed to clean. Highly not recommended.

We tried the Thai red curry, arayis, sandwich, and dynamite prawns at DIMO’S Cafe in Business Bay, and all of it was genuinely good. The arayis was fresh and cooked just right, the curry rich and flavorful, and the prawns crisp with a good level of spice. Even the sandwich was satisfying and well prepared. Eating by the waterfront made it an even nicer, relaxed meal. Good food and atmosphere.

I live here with my husband, and families with children live in this building too. Night after night, from midnight onward, half-naked escort women linger around the elevators. Some are dressed so provocatively that residents are exposed to things no one should have to see. It feels disrespectful, shameful, and intolerable. This is supposedly an Islamic country that emphasizes decency, privacy, and protecting families, yet none of that is reflected here. There’s a glaring gap between the claims and reality. Management is failing at every level. Anyone who tolerates this loses credibility. A residential building is not a brothel. In my view, management has an obligation to take regulatory action and provide a safe, respectful environment. If this doesn’t change, I reserve the right to take further steps. What’s happening here is unacceptable.

Location is a strong point at DAMAC Maison Privé, right along the canal, close to Downtown, and with easy access to main roads. The apartment was clean, modern, practical in layout, and well maintained. Views depend on the unit, but the higher floors and canal-facing apartments are worth it. It runs more like a hotel, so check-in was smooth, staff were responsive, and housekeeping decent. The pool and gym are kept up, though neither is exceptional. It’s not ultra-luxury, but good value for a comfortable, reliable Business Bay stay. I’d consider coming back.
