The beachfront setting gave us a spectacular view of the fireworks at Al Marjan Island. That was the highlight of the 2026 New Year's Eve party at City Stay Beach Hotel, Ras Al Khaimah. Everything was well arranged, with games, a magic show, and other entertainment for both children and adults. The activities kept everyone interested through the evening, and the atmosphere made welcoming the New Year memorable. I'd highly recommend it to families or anyone wanting a fun, well-managed New Year celebration.

Once we moved from the 9th floor to the 4th, the stay was completely fine. The outside roof noise had been the reason we requested a room change. We had booked a two bedroom apartment for two nights. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were always very helpful, and the price was quite reasonable compared with other hotels on the island.

The room had a great view, and the pool was very good with the temperature somewhat controlled. The staff were friendly and professional, which is why I'm giving one star. Still, check the full room details before booking. The rooms are old, some tiles are broken, the carpet smells, and the AC seems from the stone age. The buffet also wasn't what I expected.

The rooms were decent, though their age is obvious, and the breakfast was just okay, with nothing special to praise. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes and slippers weren't provided when we arrived. The service was poor. We were told the pool closed at 6pm even though it actually closed at 9pm. When we asked for 4 extra pillows, we were told we could have only 1, despite already having one per person. Par.

The staff made arrival easy with a smooth check-in and were friendly and attentive. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with modern decor and plush bedding. The bathroom was well maintained and supplied with premium toiletries. The fitness center and restaurant were excellent, and the location made it easy to reach local attractions and transport. It was a memorable stay.
