Prime Tower Hotel

I booked this hotel because it was cheaper and closer to where I needed to be, but I ended up feeling humiliated in front of my family. The lobby was crowded with people waiting to check in, while current guests were shouting at staff about the service. There was no running water, yet the staff refused to cancel the booking or refund the money. Confirm everything before you check in.

Stay away from this place. The bed had bed bugs, the shower was awful, and the WiFi didn’t work. The air conditioning had only one setting, freezing cold. Breakfast was so unappealing, from bland pot noodles to boiled eggs, that I’d rather chew the bed sheets. The staff were unhelpful and accepted no responsibility, blaming either someone else or the guest. The manager was useless too. He kept lying about when problems would be fixed and what reimbursement was possible, then asked me to empathise with him over the repairs.

Our Junior suite was large and comfortable. Parking is limited, but there’s a rental parking area opposite the hotel where you can leave the car.

This is a mid-range place to stay, with many nearby restaurants offering inexpensive but good food, so there’s no need to eat at the hotel. Eating outside can save you quite a bit. At the time of my stay, the property was closed because of Covid-19 problems.
