Belvilla Royal Tulip Sharjah Aparthotel

Tulip Hotel Sharjah was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty, the corridors and rooms smelled strongly, and even the elevator was in poor condition. Old, uncomfortable furniture and weak overall organization made things worse. What frustrated me most was the lack of cooperation when I raised problems. Customer service was very poor, and it felt as if guest comfort was not a priority. The hotel lacked basic cleanliness, maintenance, and credibility in how it was managed. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even if the stay were free, and I will never return.

Room 1212 itself is clean, very good, and comfortable, so we’re satisfied with the accommodation. My concern is the Filipina receptionist who handled our check-in. She didn’t greet us, and we had to greet her first. When I asked about extending our stay on Friday until 23:00, she gave no price or explanation and instead told us booking online would be cheaper. As a hotelier working in the UAE, I know that guests should receive a clear explanation of the hotel’s rate rather than being directed to online platforms. Her attitude and handling of the conversation were unacceptable and reflect badly on the service. She needs proper training in guest relations and professional behavior. I hope management takes this seriously.

Royal Tulip Sharjah was the worst hotel stay of my life. Cockroaches were everywhere, including the room, washroom, and bedroom, which was disgusting and completely unacceptable. Room service was not proper, and the staff were not helpful. The lack of parking added even more inconvenience. This hotel fails at basic hygiene and service, so I wouldn’t recommend it even if the stay were free.

The only real highlight was the view from our room on the 12th floor. Apart from that, the stay was disappointing. The rooms were not clean, and even after requesting room service, they were not cleaned properly. The phone in the room could not connect to reception, and after I complained twice, nobody came to fix it. Service and cleanliness were unsatisfactory, far below what I expected from Sharjah Royal Tulip Hotel.
