The large rooms are comfortable, and the hotel’s remote setting makes it a quiet escape. The rooms also have good views from the small outcrop, although the surrounding landscape feels rugged and harsh. Nearby hot springs are a nice feature, reached by walking down the hill via a stairway. The peaceful atmosphere can be interrupted by noise from guests at the pool, especially children. Service was inconsistent during my stay, and the staff seemed poorly trained and demotivated at the time. Also, be aware that the Spa provides no services during Ramadan. I have stayed twice, and this was not mentioned when we booked for that period, so the lack of availability came as a surprise.

The rooms are neat and clean, but the service is only so-so. Bring your laptop with some movies or songs because the TV channels don’t work. 🙄
