Olive Tree Residence

The beach is easily the best part, with calm water, comfortable sand and sunbeds, and one of the nicest beaches I’ve seen. The apartments were a different story. I stayed in three, and each had its own problems, including missing light bulbs and an unclean toilet. The kitchen was dirty in every apartment. Pacific Building seemed more or less the same, so I’d skip this place and look at other buildings on the island.

Mary at reception gave us excellent support. We arrived before check-in, and she let us use her access card for the rooftop swimming pool while we waited for the room. The staff were friendly, and there’s a supermarket, a nice restaurant and bar outside, a beautiful view, and a marvelous rooftop jacuzzi. My only comments are that the elevator is slow and the beachside is extremely shallow.

The seafront is really amazing, with clean water and beach. There are two supermarkets, several nearby restaurants, and a children’s playground. Our room had a large balcony, covered parking, and all the basics, including a washing machine, cooking equipment, white stuff, frying pan, and kettle. The price-to-quality balance is excellent. It’s a little far from the city, but driving there is easy.

For a longer family stay, this is a peaceful choice, especially with a lovely sea-view room, a private beach, and a great rooftop pool. Everyone will love the view from up there. The staff were very nice and the house amenities were awesome. It would be even better with restaurants at more reasonable prices, or if KFC and McDonald were brought to the island.
