Royal View Hotel

From beginning to end, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I found a cockroach in the room, and after I asked for housekeeping, they only sprayed and lightly wiped the floor. The room was barely cleaned, the bed was not properly arranged, and nothing really looked different afterward. When I explained that the room was still dirty and that the cockroach might have come from the bedding, the staff said that because I had checked in "today", they could not clean it. That response made no sense and felt very unprofessional. The evening shift was especially unsatisfactory. The loud disco and music made the noise unbearable, so relaxing or sleeping was impossible. Parking was another problem. Reception only told me it was full and gave no real help. I had to push for a solution myself, otherwise I would have ended up parking far away on the sand, while reserved spaces were visible nearby. The online pictures are completely different from reality. This was my first stay, and sadly it will be my last.

Royal View Hotel is conveniently located near malls and fast food chains, and the staff were accommodating. We had a good stay, although the linen and bedsheets needed improvement and the cleaning could have been better. The food was average. For the budget and the location, it’s a good choice.

The room was neat, quiet, and peaceful, and room service was quick and easy. We arrived late at night, but Mr.Asid kindly understood our situation and allowed us a late checkout. The hotel was decent overall, with a good view.

The rooms are clean and kept in good condition, and the December nightly price was reasonable for a 3-star hotel. I stayed on the 2nd floor, which I’d suggest over the top floor because the two rooftop clubs can make it noisy. Reception and housekeeping were helpful and cooperative. There’s an open pool on the mezzanine, while Manar Mall is across the road and McDonald’s is next door. Tea, coffee, and other restaurants are all close enough to walk to.
