So/ Ras Al Khaimah Hotel & Resort

The staff were friendly, well trained, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made us feel at home. The hotel was spotless, the room was comfortable and clean, and the facilities were excellent. I also really enjoyed the delicious, high-quality food. I loved the stay and honestly wished it had been longer. I’ve already recommended the hotel to friends and family.

I have never had a hospitality experience this bad. While authorities were advising people to remain indoors, I asked reception to extend my stay for myself and my children because their safety was my main concern. They were extremely frightened by the situation. Instead of understanding, the hotel quoted almost twice the rate for the weekday extension, even though I had already paid the weekend rate. From the public information available then, I understood that hotels were encouraged to help guests who needed to remain longer, but that was not what happened here. I had to check out and find another hotel during a stressful and sensitive time, putting my children at risk while relocating. There was no flexibility or empathy for a family needing a safe place. Based on this personal experience, I do not recommend the hotel.

The design at SO Hotel Ras Al Hamsin is what first stands out. It’s brand new, fashion-inspired, and filled with stylish interiors, fashion books, decorative fabrics, and elegant accessories. The atmosphere feels distinctive and sophisticated. Service was very personal throughout the stay. The General Manager and the Beach Manager were directly involved, from the welcome onward, and made everything feel smooth and well organized. The Market also served a strong range of well-presented meat, fish, seafood, and national and international dishes. A stylish property with a great atmosphere, personalized hospitality, and quality dining. Highly recommended for guests who value design and comfort.

The fitness team was one of the best parts of the vacation. Every day brought different activities, including aerial yoga, poolside exercises, aqua aerobics, functional training, stretching, Kangoo jumps, and Group Cycle. The instructors were energetic and professional, watched our technique, helped when needed, and kept everyone motivated. Classes worked for both beginners and regular exercisers, with a friendly atmosphere, humor, and no unnecessary pressure. Thanks to the fitness team, the holiday was relaxing but still active. I really enjoyed the activities I tried. Special Thanks for all of them.
