Al Azmi Hotel

The room was dirty, and the smell throughout the place was so bad that it was difficult to get used to. There was only one towel, and it was stained. When I asked for a replacement, they said, “yes, sure, in a bit,” but never brought one. The air conditioning was very loud, while construction workers were yelling under the window all night. It was a horrible stay and not worth the money.

The rooms were neat and tidy, with air conditioning that cooled them very quickly. Parking at the property was also very good. The drawbacks were extensive. There was no telephone in the room, so guests had to use their personal phones to call reception. Despite having a kettle, the rooms had no complimentary water or tea bags. There should also be an English-speaking receptionist on duty at all times. The bathroom had only one bath towel, no body shower gel, and guests had to go to reception themselves for another towel. There was no waste bin in the bedroom either.

The hotel is in a great spot, just one stop away from Dubai. It was very clean and looked as if the design had recently been refreshed, with relaxing music playing in the lobby. The room and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. There was a hair dryer, which is very important for girls🤭, as well as an iron. I’m giving four stars because there were no slippers, so after showering you have to put your sneakers back on 😞.

The room was nice, and the hotel is close to Sahara Mall and the Dubai side. The surrounding area is affordable, with supermarkets, restaurants, and local shops. It isn’t the best area, but the location worked well for me. The staff were kind, and the Concierge was very helpful, even carrying my luggage from the check-in desk to the room. I only had coffee and snacks from the reception coffee corner, so I didn’t try the breakfast or restaurant. There were some problems. The corridors smelled bad, people could smoke near the elevators, the AC in room 710 was noisy, and the bathroom had a bad sewer or pipe smell. Also, if you’re a couple, make sure you’re married under Sharjah Law or speak with the manager.
