Al Hayat Hotel Suites

I left the hotel on the same day I checked in after seeing the condition and cleanliness of the room. They describe themselves as a 4 star property, both through their employees and on the website, but in my view it doesn’t deserve even 2 stars. I booked in haste and regretted it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, and I’ll always check Google reviews before booking again.

The room was unacceptable from the moment we entered. There was a visible blood stain on the duvet, dust throughout the washroom and room, and a dirty mirror. Even the high surfaces looked as if they had not been touched for a long time. We also asked for one large bed but received two smaller beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable. There was no fridge either, and staff said that was “standard,” although most hotels in the same category provide one. With the poor cleanliness, weak service, and low basic standards, this hotel does not deserve even one star.

Very little in the room matched the photographs apart from the bed, chairs, TV, and wardrobe. There were no towels, the kitchen had no proper equipment, and the cooking gas didn’t work. The bathroom was extremely old, broken, and unsuitable. The facilities were poor overall, so the stay was disappointing.

The room was spacious, modern, spotless, and comfortable, with a good bed and seating area. I also liked the luxurious bathroom and its premium toiletries. The restaurant and gym were excellent, and the stylish atmosphere felt both inviting and relaxing. The welcoming, courteous staff made check-in and check-out effortless, which made the whole experience superb.
