Aldar Hotel

Adar Hotel, Sharjah was a stressful and disgusting stay, not a relaxing one. The room smelled so bad that I felt nauseous and at one point thought I might vomit. The condition felt unhygienic and unsafe. There was no hot water at all. I told the staff several times, but nothing was fixed, leaving us with only cold water. The room itself was in poor condition, and the customer service was just as bad. Complaints were ignored, with no urgency, concern, support, or solution. This hotel doesn’t meet even basic hospitality standards. I strongly do NOT recommend Adar Hotel Sharjah. It needs major improvement in hygiene, maintenance, and customer service.

I had to book another hotel at a higher price because this place wasn’t clean or safe, and Agoda.com eventually approved my refund. The whole experience ruined my day. The online pictures and room details from Agoda.com did not match the hotel. The room smelled terrible, the bathroom was dirty, and the bedsheets and pillows were old and stained. There was no Wi-Fi anywhere in the property. I waited with my luggage outside the small reception area from 1 PM to 5 PM. One renovated room on the 5th floor looked decent, but staff demanded extra money for it and offered no solution or even an apology. Their behavior was rude and unprofessional. This is not a 3-star hotel, and in my view it doesn’t deserve even 1 star. Don’t trust the online photos or book this place.

The hotel internet never worked, so I had to spend 300 dirhams on an unlimited SIM card. Whenever I complained, the staff blamed the service provider. If the hotel can’t fix such a basic problem, it shouldn’t advertise internet. The room also had cockroaches and insects, the service was poor, and the hotel was overpriced. Breakfast was terrible too. On my first check-in day, it took 30 minutes to get into the room because the day-shift receptionist, an Indian man, kept asking where I had booked. I explained that it was through Booking, but he still took 30 minutes to re-enter my details into the computer and give me the room card. For this price, much better hotels are available in the Deira area. Don’t be fooled by the photos.

Ahmed Morshdy and the whole team deserve special thanks for their respectful attitude, professionalism, and hospitality. He made sure that every service requested by me and my family was provided properly. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I truly enjoyed the stay. It was pleasant and memorable.
