Barracuda Beach Resort

Our office group had a fantastic stay at Barracuda Beach Resort. Mr. Hari, Mr. Nigish, Mr. Ameer, and Mr. Jose were especially helpful, professional, and attentive, and their support made everything run smoothly. The food was another highlight. Dinner had a superb buffet with delicious, carefully prepared dishes, and breakfast offered a surprisingly broad selection beyond a basic bed and breakfast. The whole visit felt worthwhile, and the resort worked very well for team bonding and a relaxing group break.

The biriyani was cold, dry, and had hardly any masala, while the fish curry smelled bad. My family and friends came for lunch yesterday and ordered a couple of main courses along with biriyanis, but the food was served very cold. This was some of the worst Kerala food I’ve had in UAQ. It’s not backwater, it’s Worstwater food. I would never recommend this restaurant. Visit at your own risk.

Calling this a beach resort makes no sense when guests can’t swim in the sea. The reception staff were passive and not accommodating, and everything felt poor quality despite the high price. The photos and advertisements are misleading and should be changed. We won’t recommend the place and definitely won’t return. No star at all.

Our family gathering at Barracuda Beach Resort, Umm Al Quwain, last December was a very happy and memorable event. The peaceful surroundings and scenic views gave us a welcome break from city life, while the staff kept the arrangements organized and looked after everyone courteously. There was plenty for the group to enjoy at night, including barbecue, children’s entertainment, and time together as a family. The separate pools for kids and adults were useful for both safety and enjoyment. Breakfast was particularly good, with fresh, varied, and tasty dishes. Everyone, from the children to the elders, had a wonderful time. It’s a good option for family gatherings, celebrations, weekend breaks, and corporate events.
