Energie Antigua

The Oasis apartment at Energie was just as lovely on our second Christmas stay, this time for 9 nights in 2025 instead of 7 nights last year. We still wished we'd booked longer. Its view over the Harbour and all the yachts is a big part of the appeal, while the immaculate apartment is tastefully decorated, with a great bathroom, large kitchen and dining area, and a superb balcony for morning coffee or sunset. Energie is a chic, contemporary and comfortable home base for exploring English Harbour. Gary, Shayne and the Energie team made the stay memorable, and we've already booked to return for Christmas 2026. There are plenty of convenient food and drink options nearby. We ate at Colibri, the superb higher end restaurant in town, Indian Summer for excellent Indian food, and Flatties for great island Chicken in a low key, inexpensive setting on the Main Street. Michelle at Diced, right infront of Energie, supplied regular morning coffee and juices, with lovely views from Michelle’s Patio. For a meal outside English Harbour, Slates Restaurant was outstanding and only a 10 minute drive. In our opinion it's a must visit, with delicious, imaginative, beautifully presented food, and the owner has a Michelin star for his restaurant in the UK. Further away, The Hut on Little Jumby offers superb food, service and music in a lively, high energy restaurant right on the beach. It costs more, but the trip was worth it. Loose Cannon on Galleon Beach was another great stop for late afternoon or early evening cocktails and wonderful live music. I can't recommend Energie highly enough. Gary and Shayne deliver 5 star service and make Antigua memorable.

What a lovely place for yoga and pilates. The instructors are welcoming and know their stuff, so I'd definitely recommend practicing here while visiting the island. Call ahead for directions to the actual yoga studio, since it's not in the main building, there are no signs, and someone may not be there to show you where to go. 💕🧘🏽‍♀️🏝️

The Sun Apartment at Energie was spacious, modern and well equipped, and Shayne, Gary and Darius were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. The location in English Harbour is ideal, with several lovely restaurants nearby, including Diced on the Energie site. Having the gym available was a great bonus.

Sky Apartment was comfortable for both a short or longer stay and had an excellent location. The furnishings were well chosen, while the staff stayed discreet but were always very attentive when we needed something, with a smile every time.
