The room included WiFi, a TV, a bed, a pool, a kitchen, and a parking spot. It’s really good for a night out or something similar. For what we paid, it was 100% good. I spent a few days there with the bros and the ladies, and the pool was 5/5. I’d give the staff 3.5/5, except for the receptionist, who was 5/5 and really helpful. The day was sorted, the room was ready, and we arrived and had fun, good vibes and more. We’ll be going again.

The place wasn’t even clean. There was a cockroach in my bedroom, and bed bugs bit me, so I had to sleep on the couch. I was completely disgusted. The bathroom floor was black and filthy, the shower wasn’t working, and neither was the stove.

The view over jolly harbour bay and the hillside region of the south of the island was spectacular. The guest house also had a large pool for swimmers, and the room was spacious with a king-sized bed, internet, and cable included. The bathroom had a jacuzzi, and unlike other places I’ve stayed, this one provided pots and pans in case we wanted to cook. It’s one of the best guest houses I’ve visited so far, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a great weekend away with friends.

I had a good stay mainly because of my companions. The pool and the view were cool, but the property needs structural improvements. Once those issues are addressed, it could deserve a better rating.

Royal Cove handled our early arrival well when a snowstorm changed our plans, and the price was great. Customer service was fantastic. Our accommodation had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with utensils, and a balcony with a great view. Restaurants and shops are about a 15-minute walk away, which is manageable. I took off a star because the place wasn’t exactly what we expected, but it’s still worth considering if you want an affordable base for exploring the island.
