Anchorage Inn

I've stayed here a couple of times and would happily return. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. During carnival, they even helped me sort out some last minute costume problems. The food is good too, and a grocery store is within walking distance. I really couldn't be happier staying here and hope to come back soon.

Flava's was the real hidden gem here. The restaurant serves both North American and local dishes for breakfast and dinner, all at a very reasonable price. The food had excellent portions, flavors, presentation, and atmosphere. The chef was also very accommodating when I asked for a special meal. The hotel room was clean, and the staff were friendly and courteous. I highly recommend eating there.

The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff were friendly. We did at least have a television and air conditioning, but the place feels very dated and badly needs renovations. We also had no hot water. It could be beautiful if it weren't so run down, but the price isn't justified. Sorry.

The restaurant and pool area have hosted many pool parties, and our meal there was a very enjoyable experience, with great food and service. The friendly, courteous staff made it even better, and the restaurant and bar can accommodate both events and private dining. Tucked toward the back of the property, the setting feels like a little oasis of food and atmosphere. Anchorage Inn sits on Anchorage Road, which may explain the name, and it's close to the nearby beaches. It welcomes a varied mix of guests without feeling too formal or too casual. The Caribbean themed rooms are comfortable and well appointed, while the property itself is much bigger than it first appears, with attractive grounds. The front desk and lounge were comfortable and relaxing, decorated with indoor plants and flowers. Everyone seemed keen for guests to have a good time. The buildings and grounds were well kept, and both short and longer stays are catered for.
