Our late arrival was handled very well by the friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. We stayed at the end of May, just before peak season, and the best feature was the location beside Berat Castle, with a spectacular view.

The room was comfortable and the hotel was pleasant, but several things made the stay difficult. The supposedly close 800 m route to the city center is a very steep uphill drive, even by car, while the easier alternative adds at least 4 km. Breakfast begins at 9:00, but when we arrived then, nobody was at reception and the doors were still locked in the rain. The lady arrived at 9:20, so we only started eating at 9:30, too late after a long drive. Shower pressure was very weak, and our room had no hot water.

The breakfast was so generous that I honestly felt we should have paid for it. There was fresh cheese, vegetables, several kinds of bread, and much more, all truly spectacular. The hotel is right beside Berat Castle, one of the city’s biggest highlights, and the rooms were great too. Service was even better, especially from Valentin and Flutura, who always greeted us with big smiles. We hope to return soon.

This family-run hotel and restaurant is a super little place near Berat castle. The staff were happy, friendly, and spoke English very well. Breakfast was great, and they served traditional food for both lunch and dinner.

The hotel was clean and pleasant, with an amazing view. We had large portions of delicious, authentic food, and the staff were wonderful about answering all our questions and making sure we were comfortable.
