Heraklis Hotel

Staying in Heraklis puts you right in Berat's old town, which is ideal for exploring the historic quarters. Our room was cozy and clean, the staff welcoming, and the price felt like good value for such a central location.

The bed and linens were clean, and getting to the second floor wasn't difficult. My room was on the third floor, though, with a narrow staircase, and only one of its four electrical outlets worked despite an attempt to fix it. Breakfast is served around 7:30 AM, with no choice of time or food, and if it goes cold that's your problem. I also asked for another coffee and was told there wasn't enough for the three remaining rooms. The hotel is close to the main road and downtown, but parking is difficult, with perhaps one lucky spot by the front door.

The spacious, clean rooms include air conditioning, TV, a fridge, Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, and the usual bathroom essentials. The service was very good, especially the guy working there, who helped us with everything, including our luggage. It's in one of the best parts of Berat and has an amazing city view. I really recommend this hotel, and Berat itself is one of Albania's most beautiful and historic places.

The rooms were clean and the shower had good pressure. I liked how the decoration felt authentic alongside the castle, while still providing the modern amenities you'd expect. Parking was the only real issue because there were limited spaces.
