Hotel Demaj made exploring Berat easy, since nearly everything worth seeing and doing was within walking distance. The view was beautiful, and the staff were especially kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout the stay. Breakfast had enough variety for a good start to the day.

The calm setting outside the city center was exactly what we wanted, with a lovely view over the river and old city. Our room was clean, practical, and very cozy. Hotel Demaj also gave us a genuinely warm welcome, and the owners were kind, patient, flexible, and always smiling. Breakfast came with homemade products and a strong but delicious coffee. We’re very happy we chose this place and would return.

Hotel Demaj has a wonderful view and is close to everything. The rooms were clean, but the warm welcome from the owner stood out even more. It’s a great place to visit, and next time I’ll stay longer. Thank you for everything, and I hope to see you soon.

The homemade byrek at breakfast was delicious, and the people running this cosy family hotel were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. There’s free parking, and the main city centre is only a short walk away. Simply perfect.

The owners were lovely, and they prepared a huge breakfast spread even though I was travelling alone, with plenty of food and drink choices. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is central, with nearby restaurants and sites easily reachable on foot. Thanks for the hospitality and the great stay.
