Downtown Apartment 2

The location couldn't have been better, between the two old town areas, beside the long promenade with its restaurants and bars, and below the route leading up to Berat Castle. We were looked after by the sweetest lady, who made us feel very welcome. She prepared a tasty breakfast whenever we wanted it. We loved staying here, and I say that as a local guide who would definitely recommend the place.

The owners were genuinely kind and helpful, from showing us free parking options to suggesting local restaurants. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and had one double bed plus a single bed. Its central location made it easy to leave the car and walk to Berat's tourist sights. My only reservation was the heating in winter. The large air conditioner didn't warm the whole apartment very effectively. Everything else was super okay, and I would recommend it.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with an omelette and tomatoes, feta, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, an organic banana smoothie, and Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious. The apartments are small, but the high ceilings and decoration make them pleasant, and they were very clean, with fresh-smelling sheets and towels. There was air conditioning in the bedroom and a hair dryer in the bathroom. It's easy to explore Berat on foot, and free parking is possible on the main street. The lady and man running the apartments were lovely. I'd gladly return.

The studio had been fully renovated and felt modern, comfortable, and very good. Breakfast was good too, and the price was excellent. The host was kind, although their English wasn't very strong.
