Sokak Boutique Hotel

The staff were fantastic and everything was very clean, but the hotel was extremely dark inside and the stairs were very steep. We expected small rooms, though some were uncomfortably cramped with too many beds. The rooftop shown in some reviews is no longer there, and the delicious breakfast is now served in the dark lobby. Our expensive attic suite had only a skylight instead of normal windows, so we couldn’t see the famous view. I wish we’d known that beforehand.

Sokak Boutique Hotel has a stylish interior that still keeps its traditional character, and the location is quiet while remaining close to everything. Our double room with a balcony was cozy, spotless, and beautifully designed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and taking in the local atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with fresh choices and a relaxed dining area. We’d happily return, especially for a romantic stay.

The staff really made this stay special. Everyone was kind, professional, and ready to help whenever needed. It’s a fantastic hotel, and I’ll definitely come back.

The room was cramped and packed with furniture, so I had to move things around just to put down my medium-sized suitcase. The bathroom needed a thorough cleaning, along with general refreshing and maintenance. Finding a small hole in the timber floor and nails sticking up at 3am while barefoot was especially unpleasant. I stayed here as part of a small group tour.
