The view was the one thing I liked, but it couldn't make up for how poorly the stay went. When we arrived, the toilet had faeces in it and stains on the seat. The room was missing toilet tissue, toothbrushes and toothpaste, bathrobes, hand wash, and shower gel, and some lights didn't work. Service around the hotel was frustrating. Most staff were rude or dismissive, and we felt unwelcome. The exception was a gentleman on the night shift around midnight, who treated us well. At the rooftop pool, staff said there were no towels even though other guests had them, and didn't seem interested in helping. At the rooftop bar, a waiter told my friend and me they served only alcohol, not soft drinks. Two women at the restaurant entrance later confirmed soft drinks were available and helped us, so the mixed messages were irritating. We were also told to change seats several times while the restaurant was far from busy, with no clear explanation. At the prices charged, I expected much better cleanliness, room preparation, and hospitality. I found Arka Art Hotel overpriced, left disappointed, and wouldn't stay again. There are better value hotels with cleaner facilities and better service.

Valentine’s Day at this hotel was such a good experience for my partner and me. The spa, the 5 course meal, and the staff were all phenomenal. Arta, Tea, and Aldo were especially friendly and great. This is easily our new favorite place to stay, and we’ll be recommending it to everyone 💗💗

The mountain setting and spectacular views made this a lovely couple's getaway, and the centre is easy to reach by taxi or even on foot. We spent five amazing days here, with a warm welcome when we arrived late on Friday and kind, friendly reception staff throughout. They surprised us with an upgrade to a junior suite. The art of show is amazing, and the whole hotel is fun to explore. Arta made us smile every day and helped make the stay wonderful. When my partner accidentally left his phone in a taxi, Tea called the taxi and we had it back within 15 minutes. Both women at reception were chatty and so friendly. Enrik in the wine cellar bar helped us choose a white wine and served us with a smile each time. Arta, Tea, Juli, and Aldo make a welcoming team at reception. Would 100% come back. The room itself was fine, but the rest of the stay was a huge disappointment. At dinner, our food came on chipped and broken plates. I attached photos as proof, and this just isn't acceptable for a 5-star hotel. The pool could have been a plus, but it was closed when we arrived. Breakfast was nearly empty, with hardly any choice. For $15, I expected a much better selection and quality. The pancakes were burnt, the juices tasted artificial rather than fresh, and the bread seemed like it was from the day before. Breakfast was zero out of ten. Apart from the room, nothing impressed me. Never again.

That rooftop swimming pool is a real bonus, with a stunning view that made the experience memorable. The view overall is breathtaking too, and the rooms are spotless, comfortable, and beautifully kept. I slept better than I did on the rest of my holiday because the bed was so comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly from start to finish. Easily the best hotel in Tirana for me. Highly recommend.
