Hotel Vila Misiri

We’ve just checked in, and I’m already very disappointed. We booked two sea-view double rooms, 401 and 402. They do have a sea view, but the rooms are old-fashioned and nothing like the website pictures. If I’d known these were the rooms we’d get, I absolutely would not have booked this hotel. When I told the man there that the rooms didn’t look like what we booked, he just shrugged and said he had updated rooms like the website, but only without a sea view. I moved rooms, but he wouldn’t refund the price difference for the sea-view upgrade. Now he’s selling those sea-view rooms to others at the higher price. Shady business dealings like this ruin my holiday mood. The bathrooms in 401 and 402 are old, and the shower has no partition, so the whole bathroom gets wet. It’s nothing like the website, and I’m posting pictures to back up my claims. My rating is based on the more expensive rooms we originally booked, and we’re pretty upset. I know the other reviews were superb, but unfortunately not all guests get treated the same. If you don’t want to be disappointed, book the cheap NON sea-view rooms, which are ironically the updated ones. The old sea-view rooms aren’t pictured on the website, which feels totally deceptive and I don’t appreciate it. Also, the site says there’s a private beach, but the hotel isn’t on the beach. I asked whether the umbrellas to the left of the hotel belonged to vila misiri, and the same man said no, we could go anywhere on the beach. So what private beach are they advertising? Nothing they advertise seems valid. Totally false advertising. We’ll see how breakfast is tomorrow, but I’m not hopeful. We will never return, even if their rating goes to 9,9!
