I ended up staying in two rooms, the tiniest one and a larger one with a balcony and street view, because I’d forgotten to book my last night on Booking. When I explained the problem, the owner quickly found a way for me to stay longer. He and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly throughout, like most Albanian people I met. I’d read concerns about the smallest room, but it worked perfectly for a solo traveller. It was quiet and had all the necessary things. Both rooms were tidy and nice. The bar is a good spot for coffee in the morning or wine after a long day of sightseeing. Recommended!

The bar was lovely, with a great atmosphere and a really nice barman. At the hotel, the location was great, the owner friendly, and my room comfortable and clean. Good value. I recommend both the hotel and the bar.

We only went to the bar, not the hotel, and had a really nice time. The people were kind, the drinks good, and the prices fair. They even let us try a local schnaps on the house.

We were a group of eight, and the staff helped us out after an online booking problem. We’ve learned some booking sites don’t represent hotels accurately. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had all the basics. There’s a nice restaurant and bar downstairs that wasn’t noisy, and a wonderful gluten-free bakery across the street. The location also makes it convenient to visit the main tourist sites. A good basic hotel.
