The hosts made us feel very welcome and had already shared useful restaurant and walking recommendations before we arrived. Our room was spacious while still feeling cozy, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and locally made, including fresh milk, butter, cheese, homemade bread, pancakes, fruit preserves, and mountain tea. The setting is stunning, and we'll be back.

The village was charming, the bed was comfortable, and the raki was strong as hell. The food tasted fantastic and seemed to be made with love, using the freshest vegetables, meat, and cheese, with the ingredients visible from the driveway. Everyone at Hotel Hasa was a joy, including Maçi the cat, although he did try to beat me up after I touched his tail. Nobody there beat me up or made fun of me in English, even when I choked on the raki. If you're considering Fushe Studen, make the scary drive and stay at Hasa.

We came through on motorcycles while following the TET Albania trail and found this hotel by chance when we needed somewhere to stay. It turned out to be a great stop. The host was excellent, the food was delicious, and the price to quality ratio was unbelievably good.
