I really appreciated how the owner and his son helped me sort out parking in such a congested area. The rooms are tidy, the washroom is clean, and there’s even a lockable wardrobe for luggage. The balcony and terrace views are a real highlight. It’s only a three-minute walk to the market, and you can buy tea, coffee, breakfast, and more there too. The place feels like home.

Eva and her family are so friendly, and they help people through all kinds of difficulties. The service is kind and very good. From the terrace you get a lovely view over half the old city and the whole Castel. You can get tasty breakfast for just 5€, and there’s beer or coffee all day. Prices are low: a bed in a shared six-person room is 12€/night/person. A private room for up to four, with shower and WC, was 30€ for two people.

I was there for four nights in the low season, and had the dorm to myself for three of them. The balcony next to the dorm is nice. The roof terrace has good views, but it needs tidying and there isn’t really anywhere to sit. I liked the common room with its fire, and ate there a few times using groceries I’d bought. It’s close to everything I wanted to see in Girokaster, so I’d recommend it.

I ended up staying a whole week because I needed somewhere to settle for a bit. Everyone in the family was kind and helped with whatever I needed. The beds were comfortable, and I slept really well. There’s a beautiful terrace with views of the city and castle. ♥️ Thank you.

This beautiful family-run place has a great location near the city centre, and the family are super kind and helpful. Breakfast was great and the prices are affordable. It could have been cleaner, though. Thanks for having us!!!
