The old “Tourism hotel” of Peshkopi still keeps its tradition wonderfully. I came for a short stop to try the cakes and sweets, and the cake tasted just like it must have decades ago. I hadn’t been here for at least 37 years, since I was a student, so seeing the retro communist-era armchairs in the bar-restaurant was a lovely surprise. We also enjoyed “boza with icecream”, which was very refreshing. A great pit stop, and we’ll return.
