Maradona was a great host and made me a lovely breakfast. My room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and good facilities. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re looking for somewhere in Gjirokastër, this is the place.

Everything felt just right for a trip: the room, location and atmosphere were all perfect. I think the owner was born to run a hotel. He’s so kind and friendly, sent us all the information we needed before we arrived, and made our visit really special. We’ll stay here whenever we come back.

We absolutely loved staying here. The owner made us feel at home each day, and breakfast was included. It’s well placed if you want to divide your time between the mountains and the main town.

The host arranged a bus ride from town back to the hotel for us, and it cost just 40 leke. Breakfast was tasty, and the table was already set when we arrived.

The owner was welcoming and kept checking that everything was okay. He helped me park, then helped me get the car out when I left. He also offers free rides to the city center or the castle and back, until 10 PM. I used the service to get up to the castle, which was really helpful. My room at Hotel Bebej Tradicional was stylishly decorated in a traditional style, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. The hotel sits on a hill, but walking to the city center was no problem, especially with part of the way downhill. Nights were quiet, and in the mornings I could hear birds singing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, prepared quickly and with care. A great stay.
