The stairs were the one difficult part, especially with suitcases since our room was on the top floor. Still, the clean room, large bathroom, and Kaso's kind, helpful manner soon took my mind off the climb. We’d arrived unexpectedly after cancelling a room we’d booked because it wasn’t suitable, and Kaso greeted us with a warm smile. There’s a taxi stand 100 meters away, and a bus stop for going up to the village. Walking back down is easy.

This is a budget, family-run hotel that met the hospitality standards I’d expect for that category. It’s very clean and handy for exploring the city, especially if you’re arriving by car and thinking about the old town streets. The building spreads over several levels and has no elevator. The room looked just like the pictures. A good choice for one night.
