The calm setting and welcoming staff made this stay special. FLOWER GARDEN in Golem, Albania is close to the beach and well suited to a peaceful vacation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and maintained well, and the outdoor areas and pool were also clean and enjoyable. Breakfast and restaurant service were very good, with fresh, delicious food each day. Everyone was polite, friendly, and ready to help. I would recommend this hotel to couples, families, or anyone wanting a comfortable stay near the Albanian coast. I look forward to visiting again.

We did enjoy our stay, although several things made it less comfortable than it could have been. The hotel has four pools, two spas, lovely gardens, and pleasant rooms, and we had a truly great espresso martini by the pool. Golem itself may be lovely in season, but it seemed dirty and not very developed. Lashi restaurant, just around the corner, is well worth trying despite its unassuming appearance. We were moved between hotels without notice because of building work. The first Flower hotel room had a great top-floor view but broken aircon, while the second was tired, had a flooding shower, and working aircon. I was also removed from the nicer outdoor pool because one employee said it wasn't ready, even though other staff said it was and I'd used it for days. Filtration in both outdoor pools seemed iffy. The indoor pool was noisy because of children, even in the 18+ spa area, so an adults-only pool would help. Breakfast had lots of choices, especially cake and eggs, but the toasters in both hotels were terrible. Staff were polite and conscientious, though I didn't feel at ease with them standing around watching. We also didn't know that better coffee could be ordered and ended up with filter coffee from a thermos. Printed information about towels, pool hours, local activities, and buses would have helped. Pool towels came from the spa, but this wasn't explained and nobody was always there. We felt adrift and received different information from different staff.

The spa and pool were amazing, and the spa staff were especially accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was great too, especially the smoothie/yoghurt. The hotel arranged a wonderful driver called Miri. We booked him throughout the trip until the last day, and he was always friendly, helpful, and careful about getting us everywhere safely. He also made sure we were comfortable. We loved the stay, and they made my birthday special. I'll definitely return.

The Garden building was the highlight of our stay at Hotel Flower. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, peaceful, and charming, with a lovely balance of elegance and tranquility. The staff there made it even better, welcoming us warmly and taking care of us throughout. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the kindness, attention, and professionalism of everyone at the Garden Building are what made the visit unforgettable. I would definitely recommend it and can't wait to come back.
