The lake views and sunsets were absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant became our choice for every meal because the food was tasty and reasonably priced. There’s plenty of green space where kids can run, play soccer, and ride bikes, and the treehouse was cozy and comfortable for our first two nights. Our final night in the Shepherd’s Hut was harder. The top bunk sat very close to the curtain rod, and passing cars or RVs made the hut shake. I used towels to pad the corners so the children wouldn’t hit their heads. A shorter 1-2 hour lake tour or boat ride for families with small children would help, and a kettle in the room would be useful too.

The campsite is pleasant, very clean, and in a beautiful location right by Lake Shkoder in Albania. The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices, though there isn’t a proper grocery shop nearby, only a few basics at the campsite. Swimming in the lake is possible mainly from a wooden or board jetty, and climbing back up requires using a steep little ladder.

The lodge had beautiful design and breathtaking views, and all the services helped make the experience truly memorable. My stay at this resort was exceptional. The only improvement I’d suggest is extending the market’s working hours for greater convenience. A wonderful stay, highly recommended.

The lakefront sun beds and the overall setup are brilliant, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. I’m not a huge camper, but I came with my parents and honestly couldn’t fault the place. The restaurant was SO good, with incredibly fair prices for the quality and quantity. The mixed seafood with Albanian rice dish is well worth getting, 10/10!!

The lake was lovely for swimming, and the sunsets were superb. We tried a tree house, a bell tent, and the hotel, and every one was immaculate. The restaurant served very good food at reasonable prices. The staff were brilliant, always chatty, smiling, and speaking really good English, and I had a good laugh with most of them. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you go to Albania and don’t go here, you are missing a trick.
