We booked this apartment through agoda, and it was a bad experience. The owner wasn’t welcoming and his attitude and behavior were lacking. The apartment was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, the furniture was old, and it smelled horrible. The listing on agoda showed free parking, but he asked for an extra charge. He also wanted extra money if we used the kitchen, laundry, or rubbish service. The AC units weren’t working well. We’ll never come again, and I advise readers not to book this flat.

The host was lovely, quick to solve any problem, and always helpful with local tips for Albanian food specialty restaurants. Doing a Tirana bike tour with the host was a great experience. Villa Berberi appartment is a great place to stay in Tirana, close to the American Embassy. It’s furnished beautifully, with love, care, and contemporary design taste. Nothing was missing, from glasses to fine plates, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The mattresses were good, and there’s a big enough romantic balcony with nice views of the neighbour's garden.

An excellent apartment with great service and support. I’d say it’s the best place to stay in Tirana if you’re traveling with family.
