Our top-floor room was right on the beach, and the panoramic sea view was spectacular. Getting there by car was easy since the hotel sits directly on the beach. A car is really useful in Albania, though, because travelling around without one can be difficult.

The owners are genuinely kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with, and five stars hardly feels like enough. I've travelled around the world for 25 years and enjoy meeting people from everywhere, so that warmth really stood out. For a basic, well-priced place close to the beach, shops, cafes, and restaurants, this is a good choice. More than that, you get real people with kind hearts.

The rooms are large and modern, with comfortable beds and everything needed inside. Cleaning is done every two days, and free parking is available behind the hotel. It's only a few metres from a private beach, although access requires a fee.

We paid 70 euros per room in May, which felt far too expensive for the poor conditions. The rooms didn't look like the photos, and the whole experience was unclear and rude. My family and I were very disappointed. I don't recommend this place.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel is in a great spot directly on the beach. The husband-and-wife owners were warm and friendly, gave excellent customer service, and took good care of me during my stay. I'd gladly stay here again if I return to Himare.
